Filled with Thanks and one sole Giving
I’m alive. I’m alive. I’m not dead. I’m alive. And I have a super-sized comic coming out later today. (It is done so I can promise now…)
Thanks to everyone for their patience for the very long delay. Happy belated Thanksgiving, or as it is known in the rest of the world, Thursday. I can’t express how much your time and feedback has kept me doing the webcomic. And getting to know a bit more about everyone as time goes on is a blast. So many thank you’s.
I won’t ever let it happen again, or maybe I will, but I hope not, unless I do. Personally, I need to build a better schedule for the comic. I’m letting some hectic work take it’s place. But it makes me so happy to see that you guys are having fun with the animation project. I’m already jones-ed about seeing the final animation as it is funny in idea form! I’ll share a few samples of the animation team I’ve hired later today as well…

A special thanks to Harlequin for rocking. I swung by his DeviantArt page and noticed he’d drawn Fil! So “Yay” for awesome fanart that I totally stole from his DeviantArt page without permission. Go check out his full gallery HERE. Oh, and yes, Knitting is Badass! (Truth be told, I enjoy knitting. No jokes. And Antiques Roadshow.)
A shout out to the splendid Mr. Ernesto Noel (who has to be a spy with a sleek name like that) for spreading the word about the Pixelton Animation Project on his blog. YAY!
One other item of note before storytime: Welcome to Pixelton was reviewed by my favorite new person Delos at his review spot at PopSyndicate. There are far too many nice things said here, so thank you Delos. For someone who loves to do this comic I have to say I’m terrified of any and all feedback. Reading it makes me cringe, but this was all so constructive and helpful I appreciate it. One other item of note, three and a half stars out of five equals the Tab soda of the comic world. Take that Pepsi - we’re half as expensive and twice as gay. Hot. (I would have given the comic lower so GO TAB!)
Secrets that no one should hear: My old graphic novel is in talks right now in LA to become something more then simply a book. I recently sleuthed who the potential buyer was and I’m very impressed and excited about what I found. Fingers crossed for it to happen. I can’t say more or lawyers will kill me, and it would be legal.
Please scoot over to the nap rug and get ready for the first ever, Pixelton Soul Crushing Story Time: Once upon a time there was a book. It was all based on an idea that hadn’t been seen in comics. That idea started seven years ago, began production four years ago, and will be coming out in giant book form next year (GOD WILLING). Next month I’ll spill the beans on the big secret. It is the most excited about comics I’ve been since I was five. I hope you dig it.
