Comic news: Give back, Dedications, Improv Requests, and Hidden Codes

Good evening fellow inter-friends. I feel a bit selfish blabbing on always like I do. How was your day? Oh, that sounds nice. I like cake too.

Now onto hot panel-on-panel action. Welcome to Pixelton is growing and evolving as I go. I’m learning about what I feel makes a fab web comic, but I really thank you for reading as I stumble along. Here are a few new things I’ll be implementing in the next week. If there are any other ideas or suggestions you have to make this better seriously let me know! This is your comic as much as it is mine. :)

GIVE BACK-
In the next few days you’ll see some unobtrusive ads in the right side column. ALL money will be donated to charity in hopes to do something beyond silly one-offs here.

DEDICATIONS-
A bit of tiny text will be added to each strip dedicating it to someone. Want your name on a strip? I’ll be dedicating each to a random commenter so remember to speak up! And these dedications will always be there - even in the (eventual) print editions of the strips! Geek-chic!

IMPROV REQUESTS-
Have you ever been to a comedy show where they improv? The audience throws in an idea and the chaps on stage need to react. Sound fun? Any time I can I will do a bit of improv requesting an idea for a strip. Then I’ll pick one and run with for all to enjoy. Cool!

HIDDEN CODES-
Keep an eye out in all new comics for a hidden message in each one. :D

Thanks for reading!
-Josh

Holy crap, print editions?! That means if you use one of my comments I’ll eventually have WORLDWIDE FAME! It’s brilliant! I’m so in! I’m gonna comment the CRAP out of this comic, except for when I forget to!

I want to say upfront, I am not going to comment as much as Harlequin. But if I have any super amazing insightful ideas as I’m reading, I’ll let you know. And possibly just make faces at you if I’m really really really bored. :-D :-P o.O XD

Well, I won’t seriously get obsessive and crazy about it. Then you’d hate me and all the times we shared would mean nothing. Which would be very, very sad. But if I can think of something funny, helpful, supportive, or amusing to say, I’ll toss it at your windshield. Figuratively.

Can’t wait to see some print editions come along. I’ve only just started reading your comic but I think it’s one of the best out there. Always puts a smile on my face. Keep up the ace work.

Improv idea - well, it’s a bit in-depth for a true improv idea.

What if kirby went into some sort of audition to be in an “8-bit classics” anthology video game, and there was an identical character of him there but he had blue clothes (a-la contra/ikari warriors/early Luigi) any other game like that).

God, I’m proud right now. The comments above are the most intelligent, humorous, and kind I believe I’ve ever read before on these intertubes. And here I was writing off humanity.

TK & Felonious: Thanks so much! I will buy you rocket cars once comics become the new media sensation they’re destined to be.

Harlequin: You are clearly funnier then me. Genius stuff. I will have your brain yet!

Ndogg (aka. Nate): Love it. This is such a great idea that I’m going to need to steal it. Publically. And then credit you. MUAHAHAHAHA!

    Hidden stuff = totally sweet!

Gonna keep my eyes peeled ( sounds just as painful everytime I hear it; who ever thought of it? ) Do we get prizes if we’re the first to call in? :D
